  6. Welcome to League Manager!

  8. League Manager has been written pursuant to the increasing interest for fully
  9. configurable league software, arising out from users of another program
  10. edited by CB SOFT: 1N2 Foot-Base, whose purpose is to track the details
  11. of all games played in the French football league, along with squads
  12. management and methods of results forecasting.
  13.  
  14. Even though League Manager has got less functionnalities than 1N2 Foot-Base,
  15. it is intended at enabling the user to follow closely ANY football or hockey
  16. league, by giving total control on how the league should be configured.
  17. Also one of the main advantages of League Manager is its ease of use and...
  18. speed!!!

  20. For instance, from the first screen of League Manager, you can see a list of
  21. leagues. Just click once on one of them and all the details show up, including
  22. the league table. Then you only have to click once on one of the teams and
  23. you can see the games played by the team, another click and you select the home
  24. games, etc...

  26. It's that simple. And for all the other options, the same ease of use is
  27. always present. Same goes for the teams database, from which you can manage
  28. all the players of a team. Click on a team file and you see the players.
  29. Click on a player and you can view/edit its details.

  36. The complete program documentation is accessible through the "help" menu
  37. from within League Manager. You can also double-clic on "League.hlp" from
  38. the Windows file manager.

  40. -> Troubleshooting
  41.  
  42. As League Manager automatically saves all your input, it needs to be able
  43. to write data on your disk. That's why you don't want to use League Manager
  44. directly from a CD-ROM drive: you have to install it first in your hard
  45. disk.
  46. If you want to run League Manager from your D:, E: or F: just add a /NOTEST
  47. parameter, when launching League Manager from the Run/Execute option:

  51. Then you will no longer need to add the /NOTEST parameter, so you will run
  52. League Manager directly by double-clicking on its icon just like any other
  53. Windows program.

  55. -> Registration
  56.  
  57. Registration entitles you to use the software for an unlimited time. Also,
  58. by registrating, you get your personal registration key, which will enable
  59. you to automatically activate the complete version, that gives you access
  60. to extra functionnalities.
  61. If you want to test the complete version without registering, you can also
  62. ask for a temporary registration key, which will allow you to run League
  63. Manager another 30 times, before having to enter your valid personal
  64. registration key.

  67. the details, along with your registration fee made payable to CB SOFT, to

  77. by mail, e-mail, netmail or fax.
